Waterco water filter in Malaysia is one of the manufacturing plants for producing Waterco Micron Deep Bed Filter, inclusive of the popular point of entry water filter system; Waterco W250 and Waterco W300 MKII.
Waterco Micron Deep Bed Filter utilises the basis of "depth filtration" where dirt is driven through the sand bed media like Zeoplus and trapped the sediment in minute spaces between the particles of the media. Initially, a clean bed will remove larger particles and then as the sand bed starts to load up, it will remove finer particles.
Both the W250 and W300 MKII micron deep bed filter utilised a multiport valve to control the flow of water within the filter vessel. Minimal maintenance is required to clean the filter media by turning the multiport valve from the "filter" position to the "backwash" position. The flow of water is then reversed through the sand bed, flushing the trapped particles to the drain.
